Applied Psychology is the official journal of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP), the oldest world-wide association of scholars and practitioners of the discipline of psychology (founded in 1920).

The journal of the IAAP, which is now in its 40th volume, is a forum for scholarly exchange of research findings, professional standards and related needs in the domains of applied psychology. This includes documenting advances in psychological research and discovery in fields of social relevance such as; work anc organizational psychology; environmental issues; health; developmental psychology; gerontology; sport; education; community problems; intergroup relations; and national development. Furthermore, the Review publicizes information and views or. important professional issues.

In the pursuit of these goals Applied Psychology deliberately adopts a problem orientation, which may often call for a treatment transcending traditional disciplinary-borders or received subdisciplinary domains.

Among the quarterly issues of Applied Psychology readers will find:

Special issues, with guest editors and invited contributions with a particular thematic focus;

General issues, with freely submitted contributions; and

Regional issues, which reflect the state of the discipline in particular areas of the world.

Submissions to the Review are invited, and should be sent to the address below. All of the articles are anonymously reviewed, and emphasis is placed on maintaining the world-wide scope of the journal.
